Spiritual Inquiry Workshop

A live, 3.5-hour session to move from re-orientation into genuine inquiry and re-grounding.

The Guided Taste or Live Taste gave you a fly-over of the Waking Up territory - four stories from different traditions, each pointing at the same ground, and a first look at the Mother Story beneath them all. This Workshop is where the looking gets direct.

What this is

A guided exploration, not a longer lecture

Over one live, guided session, you’ll look from several perspectives at your own experience, shaking loose certainty to make room for re-cognition. This isn’t a longer lecture. It’s a guided exploration, with live facilitation and generous question and discussion time.

This is the first-ever running of the SI Workshop - you’d be part of the founding cohort, shaping how this session develops going forward.

Before you join

Come as you are, from any tradition or none

No preparation is required and no background is assumed. If you’ve already watched the Guided Taste videos, bring whatever arose - questions, resistances, glimpses, confusions. All of it is useful material.

Who it’s for

People ready to look directly, not read about looking

This is Spiritual Inquiry content specifically - the Waking Up work of recognising what you already are, not the Growing Up work of updating an outdated map. Same material every cohort, so if you are arriving cold you are not missing a prerequisite.

  • The Guided Taste or Live Taste named something you’d already half-sensed but couldn’t quite articulate
  • You want direct inquiry into your own experience, not more philosophy
  • You are willing to sit with whatever arises - clarity, resistance, confusion, or a question that won’t resolve
  • You can protect three and a half hours without checking your phone
  • You would rather be guided through this live than work alone from a recording

What the session covers

The shape of the afternoon

The room

Private by design

The privacy is deliberate, not a limitation. Over three and a half hours you will be asked to look at things you may never have said aloud, and that is far easier in a room where nobody can see you and nobody is performing. You get live facilitation without the exposure of a group.

The SI Workshop is oriented toward inquiry and orientation rather than practical tool-building, and the founding rate reflects both the nature of the session and the aim of making the Waking Up pathway accessible to people earlier in their Inner Frontier journey. It applies to this first cohort on 5 December 2026 only.

If the Guided Taste or Live Taste named something you’d already half-sensed but couldn’t quite articulate, this is where you work with it directly.

Places are limited - this is a working session, not a broadcast to a crowd. Booking and payment are handled by Luma.

You will get the Zoom link and a reminder before the session.

Can’t make 5 December? The Workshop runs twice a year - leave your email and you’ll hear about the next date first. The founding rate applies to this cohort only.

Come as you are, from any tradition or none. That’s the only preparation needed.

New to this work? Spiritual Inquiry: A Live Taste runs free on 23 October - ninety minutes, and a good way to find out whether this is for you before paying for the longer session.

What comes next

If an afternoon is not enough

Three and a half hours is enough to look directly, several times over. It is not enough to walk the whole territory, and for some people the Workshop makes that obvious rather than disappointing - they leave knowing what they actually want is to keep going.

That is the one-to-one Spiritual Inquiry work: your own pace, over months rather than an afternoon. Read about working with Doug directly, or reply to the email you receive after the session.
